Removing a program in Windows 10 is fairly simple as it can be done without other third-party software.
But sometimes the removed programs leave leftover files behind, that may stack up on space overtime.
To deal with that we will remove a program using the free version of Revo Uninstaller.
This article will show you how to remove software with Revo Uninstaller in Windows 10.
A video tutorial is available at the bottom of the post.
Open Revo Uninstaller. If you haven’t installed it already you can download it for free here.
You will see all the programs that are installed on your computer.
Select the program you want to uninstall and click on ‘Uninstall’ button located in the toolbar.
After clicking the ‘Uninstall’ button the official uninstaller of the program you selected will run, wich is in my case Avast.
Complete the uninstaller process, this should be fairly simple.
When done using the official uninstaller Revo Uninstaller will ask you scan for any leftovers the deleted program has left on your computer.
You can select the intensity of the scan, but ‘moderate’ will do.
Then click on the ‘Scan’ button.
When the scan ihas finished all the leftovers are shown.
Normally you want to delete all of them, but be sure to check if you think any of those files are important to you and uncheck them.
Otherwise click the ‘Select all’ button to select them all.
When ready click on ‘Delete’.
A confirmation window will pop up, click on ‘Yes’.
Now other types of leftovers are shown.
Again select them all or deselect the one’s you want to keep.
Then click on ‘Delete’.
Again confirmation window will pop up, click on ‘Yes’.
Almost all files are now deleted, the rest of them will be deleted of you restart your computer.
You may click on ‘OK’ and then on ‘Finish’ to finish the removal of the program.
You have now learned how to remove software with Revo Uninstaller in Windows 10.
