Windows 10 comes equipped with some features that targets the gamers like the Game Mode, that is designed to improve the performance of your computer so you will get better FPS and use higher settings of the game. Although that doesn’t have big effects on some computers.
Another feature is the Game Bar wich lets you record your gameplay and take screenshots.
If you don’t use this feature you might as well disable the game bar as this can lead to annoying pop-ups that disturb your gameplay.
Some people even had the Game Bar pop-up when they weren’t in a game by using a combination of different keys.
This issue should be fixed by now with the updates Microsoft rolled out.
This tutorial will show you how to disable the Game Bar in Windows 10.
A video tutorial is available at the bottom of the post.
Move your mouse to the Windows 10 icon, right-click and select ‘Settings’.
Select the ‘Gaming’ category.
Set the top switch to ‘Off’.
This will disable the game bar.
You have now disabled the game bar in Windows 10.
If you wish to re-enable it you can follow the same instructions but turn to switch on.
