Transfering big files (especially on the internet can be difficult since the size is big and the folder structure is wrong.
Creating an archive of the files can reduce the overall size and keeps all files intact.
We will be creating a .RAR archive with the free software called WinRAR.

This tutorial will show you how to create a RAR file with WinRAR in Windows 10.

Open your file browser and navigate in the folder where the files you want to archive are located.
Select all the files you want to archive, right-click and click on the option ‘Add to archive…’.
If you want to select all the files in a folder, you can simply pres CTRL + A to select them all.
A new window will pop up asking for several options.
Type the name you want to give the archive.
All other default options should be fine but if you want to change them feel free to do so.
Whend one click on the ‘OK’ button.
The .RAR archive has now been created.
The .RAR archive will now use less space than all the files combined outside the archive.
