Windows 10 automatically sets the time and date according to your timezone and synchronisation with other servers.
The automatic time function is handy if you travel between different timezones or
have moments on your calender where you normally need to turn the clock 1 hour forwards or backwards for summer / winter time.
There is also the possibility to turn of the automatic time and set the time yourself.
This means the time and date will not automatically be set so if there is a fault you have to fix it.
If you want to change your timezone you can view a tutorial here.
This tutorial will show you how to change the time and date in Windows 10.
A video tutorial is available at the bottom of the post.
Move your mouse to the Windows 10 icon, right-click and select ‘Settings’.
Click on the ‘Time & Language’ category.
Make sure to set the ‘Set time automatically’ switch off.
Otherwise you can’t change the time.
A pop-up shows where you can set your desired time and date.
If you are done you can click on the ‘Change’ button.
You have now changed the time and date in Windows 10.
